At the same time, agricultural systems are being placed under pressure to meet environmental, social and economic goals. To meet these goals and to maintain or increase production levels, an understanding of the complex factors that shape agricultural systems is required.
The Master of Agricultural Science will prepare you with the knowledge and skills you need for a future in the rapidly evolving field of agricultural science.
Domestic students may be eligible for a Commonwealth supported place and a faculty bursary within this course.
The Master of Agricultural Science (UWA Course Code: 72510) consists of 16 units totalling 96 points. Students must complete both core units and optional units chosen from within one of the following specialisations:
Applicants require a relevant bachelor's degree from this or another recognised university, or to have successfully completed the Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Science from this university, or an approved equivalent.
Students admitted with a relevant Honours (4th Year) or Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Science may be permitted to complete the Master of Agricultural Science in one year.
All applicants for UWA coursework programs must demonstrate a minimum level of English Language Competence.
