Course outline

Students learn principles of effective science communication, develop practical skills and design strategies that address the communication needs of groups such as government organisations, informal museums, science centres and research centres. Students take education units that fulfil requirements leading to their teaching qualification. These include science major curriculum units, a minor curriculum unit, two school experience units and others as outlined in the course rules.

Admission requirements

A Bachelors degree in Science from this University, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty of Life and Physical Sciences and the Faculty of Education.
