Course outline

The School of Anatomy and Human Biology provides diverse coursework and research opportunities in human biology, including theoretical studies in evolution, human variation and adaptation, human ecology, population and occupational health, and human reproduction.

This course is aimed at students with a variety of backgrounds who either lack comprehensive training in aspects of human biology or who wish to broaden and update their knowledge and expertise. Students undertake a considerable amount of independent reading and guided project work such as survey design and analysis.

Admission requirements

A recognised Bachelor’s degree with a major in Anatomy and Human Biology; or a recognised bachelor’s degree and relevant professional experience appropriate to the intended field of study or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty.
