Miriam Borthwick

Miriam has been a television news and current affairs reporter who specialised as State politics reporter during her career at the ABC. She has extensive experience in media training and her services have been engaged by several West Australian politicians, government departments and private organisations including the Lions Eye Institute, the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation and the Fire and Emergency Services Authority. Following an 18 month period working at The University of Western Australia in Public Affairs, Miriam joined Western Power where she provides media training and works as a Senior Media and Communications Advisor.

Geraldine Mellet

Geraldine Mellet has over twenty years experience as a radio and television broadcaster for a number of prime time current affairs, magazine and music programs primarily for the ABC (both local and national). Geraldine has also produced and presented documentaries and written scripts for childrens dramas plus features and columns in both newspapers and magazines. She has conducted media training for many organisations including UWA, The Dept of Education, The Health Consumers Council and Western Power.
