Are you considering a semester or a year of study in Australia? As part of the UWA Study Abroad and Exchange Program, the Faculty of Science welcomes students from over 20 countries on our beautiful campus every semester.
Situated on the Swan River, UWA is one of Australia’s most picturesque campuses. At UWA, you are surrounded by leafy green spaces with open courtyards and plenty of room to study, catch up with friends or relax outdoors. Find out why you should come to Perth for your studies.
UWA is a science-focused university, and our faculty is internationally renowned for our excellence in teaching and research.
Down in Albany, you have the opportunity to experience a different side of Western Australia: a truly unique experience. There are many Science units offered in Albany for both undergraduate and postgraduate study abroad and exchange students. For example, you select units offered as part of the Master of Ecotourism which is featured in the video below.
We find that many of our incoming study abroad and exchange students choose to undertake a combination of units that cover the sciences as well other Australian-based subjects (eg. Environmental Science) that they can't study at home.
You can select from a wide range of subject areas and some units involve field work - your chance to get out of the lecture theatre and do your science while exploring the Australian outdoors! We are located close to an international biodiversity hotspot - Australia’s South West. It’s an area of 300,000 square kms, with 13,500 kms of coastline, that’s home to 1,500+ plant species and myriad endemic mammals - lots to explore!
