Event Coordinator:
Siemens Science Experience

After graduating from UWA I spent a year working in Health Science.

Now I'm teaching science to teenagers and loving it. It's really satisfying to witness some of the wondrous things that kids can come up with.

I am also Events Coordinator for the Siemens Science Experience, a premier national program for Year 9 students about to go into Year 10. It involves more than 30 universities, and the program we run out of UWA is the largest in Australia, with over 200 enrolments from all over the state. My role also involves marketing the program to schools.

I am a committee member of Triple S Science Fairs. These are free events also aimed at students, and designed to encourage them to pursue science, maths and technology courses in upper high school.
