I moved from SIngapore to Perth to complete a Sports Science degree.

The lecturers at UWA were friendly and always willing to assist you when you needed help, and the curriculum gave flexibility and cross faculty options.  While it was always my intention to work in the sporting industry, I found that as my studies progressed I became more focussed on working with developing athletes to help build their foundation in sport. 

I am with  the Changi Sports Medicine Centre located in the Changi General Hospital. I work alongside the physiotherapists to assist both recreational and professional athletes beyond recovery and rehabilitation, and back to their competitive fitness level. I oversee the weight management program for overweight patients at the centre and run rehabilitative courses.

There here have been endless opportunities that have opened up for me to put my knowledge at UWA into practice.
