It was during my honours year that I became interested in doing research.

Since completing my honours I have been working in the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (UWA Centre for Meical Research).

I am conducting medical research into hormone receptors, which involves molecular biology techniques, experimental design and analysis.

It is exciting discovering things that no one in the whole world knows, and I enjoy the freedom of working independently on projects within my lab group, as well as collaborations with groups all around Australia and the world.

It has been very satisfying to be a part of international endeavours to increase our knowledge of human biology, and to have had my work published six times so far.
