Transferring

Switching between programs or majors within the Bachelor of Science rarely requires a special application, but you will need to discuss it with a course adviser.

To transfer to another course at UWA, you must submit an application by the due dates, mid year or end of year. Your application will be considered by the faculty that offers that course.

Other universities

To transfer to another university, you must submit an application through TISC, or the equivalent in other states. Contact the university concerned for advice.

You may seek permission to take one or more units at another Australian university for credit towards your UWA degree. You will be asked to provide academic reasons for your request. They should be units not available at UWA but relevant to your studies. They will not normally count as part of a major (level 3).

The International Centre provides advice and guidance for UWA students interested in studying overseas.
