Don't ignore problems - get them sorted out quickly.

Talk to an adviser at your faculty as soon as possible if you:

  • are experiencing any difficulties with your course
  • have a problem that is affecting your performance
  • want to apply for special consideration
  • are getting unsatisfactory results
  • want a confidential meeting about an academic issue.

Keeping a check on your enrolment is an important part of surviving at university.

Get advice

An adviser is available for sessions almost daily in the Faculty office (1st floor, Physics bulding). Come early, write your name on the list, and be prepared to wait your turn.

The sessions are conducted by Dr Jane Hallos, who may also be available for appointments at other times. Faculty Manager Jenny Gamble may also be available for appointments. Phone the Faculty Office on 6488 3396 to make an appointment.

Course advice is also available from the co-ordinator of your program or from advisers in your major discipline:
