Course outline

This Master's degree course makes available advanced training in the subject area of anatomical sciences.

It enables students to upgrade their knowledge and develop investigative skills by participating in projects in different areas in anatomical sciences, critical reviews of literature, collection of material (field, experimental or literature) and the processing, analysis and evaluation of data.

Aspects of the human anatomy covered include its structure and function, ranging from studies in neuroscience, evolution, human variation and adaptation, forensic anthropology, or biomechanics to morphometrics and comparative anatomy.

Completion may lead to a higher degree by research.

Admission requirements

A Bachelors degree of this University with a major in Anatomy and Human Biology; or a bachelors degree of this University and relevant professional experience appropriate to the intended field of study, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty.
