Recovery is a term to describe adaptation to workload after being exposed to training or competition. Over a season, or with regular vigorous exercise the body can fail to adapt, causing over-training, overuse or burnout. These sessions are catered to prevent these maladaptive conditions from occurring.

Regardless of age, level of competition and experience level, recovery sessions help to keep you doing what you enjoy.

Open recovery sessions

  • Monday: 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
  • Sessions led by a sports physiotherapist and focus on encouraging restoration, regeneration and adaptation to training loads and competition or match play.
  • Personalised, sport specific programs are issued to attendees in order to maximise performance and prevent injury.
  • Activities and facilities may include pool work, ice and compression systems, mobility work and prehab.
  • Bookings are essential.
  • Cost: $25.00 per session or session passes available.

Team recovery sessions

  • Session schedule and activities tailored to sport and goals of athletes or team.
  • Includes an education element for individuals and coaching staff to enable ongoing optimal recovery strategies.
  • Cost: quotes provided based on the number of athletes and the number of sessions required.
